My Story

Hi! My name is Tracy, and I founded The Well Seasoned Chef from a lifelong love of cooking, travel, and the way good food brings people together. My approach to hospitality has been shaped by years spent exploring the world, working in fine dining kitchens, remote wilderness lodges, and private yachts, and sharing meals and stories with people from all walks of life.

I’m a passionate traveler and adventurer. Those experiences deepened my appreciation for local food traditions, seasonal ingredients, and the connection between food, culture, and community. I’m also fluent in Spanish, and I especially value the relationships and cultural exchange that happen through food and travel. I believe some of the most memorable moments happen gathered around a table — whether in a remote cabin, at sea, or during an intimate dinner with friends.

My menus are inspired by elevated comfort food, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, house-made breads and pastries, and handcrafted cocktails designed to feel both refined and welcoming. Sustainability, adaptability, and genuine hospitality are at the heart of everything I do, with each menu tailored to the people, place, and story behind the gathering.

Whether I’m preparing a multi-day retreat, destination event, private dinner, or celebration, my goal is always the same: to create meaningful dining experiences that feel personal, memorable, and deeply connected to the setting and the people sharing it.
